We are pleased to welcome you to the state of North Carolina and to the Greater Raleigh area. When our Club was founded in 1957, members were primarily from Raleigh. Today, our membership includes individuals from surrounding North Carolina communities, from all over the United States, and even other countries. We have a fabulous website that virtually transports our organization across the miles. We hope you find it a useful resource for keeping up on the Club’s current Interest Groups and updates on fellow members.
As a member of the Newcomers Club of Raleigh, we hope you will have a wonderful experience learning more about the charming communities and diverse opportunities that embody the unique character of our historic state. Membership is open to anyone who has moved to the Greater Raleigh area within the last five years as well as to current residents who have had a recent life changing event. We invite you to attend our monthly Welcome Coffee as a means to meet members and learn about our many Interest Groups.
The Directory, monthly Newsletter, Interest Groups, and our website are meant to assist you as you explore our various activities. Our goal is to provide an organization in which members are able to make new friendships, find others with common interests, join existing groups, start new groups, and share their time and talents through serving on our Board of Directors.
